What data we collect and why we collect it

Purchases

Purchases through our online store are managed by our partner MyCommerce. If you purchase a product, MyCommerce will ask for and collect personal data from you to process the order. This includes your e-mail, name, mailing address and financial data. We will not have access, collect, use, store or transfer your financial data, which includes your bank account and payment card details. All other personal data you have provided may be accessed and collected by us to provide our service. We use this data solely to identify your order in case you want to download updates or upgrade your license, and to respond to your enquiries and requests for support. MyCommerce’s privacy policy can be found here.

Our products are also made available to download and/or purchase via Steam. We do not collect any personal data from Steam purchases.

Email

We keep all email communication indefinitely to help us provide support and improve our services.

Marketing Campaigns

We use email marketing to communicate with customers and potential customers from time to time. All email lists and campaigns are “opt-in” meaning we will not send you these sorts of emails unless you indicated that you wish to receive them. All marketing emails sent by us will include an unsubscribe link in the footer of the email. Emails sent to you may also include standard tracking, including open and click activities. We use Mailchimp for our marketing campaigns. Mailchimp’s privacy policy is found here.

Hosting

All of our websites are hosted on a server inside the EU. Access logs are automatically stored on our server for a maximum of 9 weeks. These log files store what files on our server were accessed and by what IP address. IP addresses are automatically anonymized after 7 days.
